Juicing Day 2, Phase 2 - Extreme Hunger Mixed with Exhaustion

WELP it's official, juicing is not my jam. I'm so tired and just want to eat some food. Yesterday I stuck to the juice and went to the gym, which was possibly not the brightest idea, and I was famished and so tired. Today I mayyyy have mildly cheated (don't tell Damien :/). I made it to around 1:00 p.m. and I was at work and there is a stash of Halloween candy at work...it's not even the good Halloween candy, It's the Halloween candy you already go through like 100 times and then have the left over stuff you kind of pick at. I picked. I picked twice. I had a mini Mars bar and it was soooo freaking good that I went back for a mini Aero. I stopped there. Once I got home I had a couple fork fulls of rice with soy sauce and washed the fork promptly and put it was in the drawer. I wouldn't be so worried about him finding out except he said if I was good and stuck to the juices he would take me out for Sushi!! YUM!!! So, I'm being as good as a starving Stephanie can be so I can eat the world very very shortly. To wrap it all up, I'm not enjoying my juicing experience, I'm tired and my brain function is at a negative 5, my physical function is so bad i couldn't even open my jars of juice this morning. I guess we'll see how tomorrow goes, there has to be a light at the end of this juicing tunnel!!  

Juicing Day One of Probably One

I've jumped on the juicing train and today is day one! Me and D prepped our day of juices last night and it was actually pretty fun making a pulpy mess of the kitchen. I'm not juicing to lose weight or see the health benefits, I kind of just want to see what all the buzz is about. Since this weekend is Thanksgiving, and for some odd reason we're doing family Thanksgiving on Friday, we're only going to juice for a couple days and if it goes well re-start the adventure on Monday.

I'm not looking forward to not eating for the next couple days, but Damien's mom juiced for months and made it seem like a walk in the park. I'm almost positive I'll have a different experience, but who knows, maybe these nutrient packed juices will keep a gal full...I'm skeptical!!!

Summer 2013 - From Flood to SUNSHINE

The talk of the town for the last week has been the god awful flood that poured itself all over Alberta. Luckily me and D are at the top of the hill, so the worst we had to deal with was being without electricity for a few days.

I started an internship at a social media contracting company and today is day one!!! I've been cruising social media sites today, which is why I decided to update the ol' blog! This internship is super fun!!! Everyone is super nice and fun!! WEEOOH!

I'm going to attempt to go to Joey's afterwork to get my pay check...I'm not sure what to expect going downtown after this flood. I don't think it'll be too busy because people have been advised not to go to work downtown until after the long weekend. I just really need my pay check! I can also take some awesome post flood pics!

So, first day of internship and I really have to poop, but I really don't want to poop in the washroom here. I just have to wait for an hour and a half and run home and poop. Ah I legit had to run to work this morning, and I guess back home tonight. *tear*

Holidaying on a Budget!

I'm going to Van at the end of the month (woohoo!!) but I may be short cash while I'm there. I've made a minuscule mistake booking two vacations back to back without the funds! How am I 27 and sooooo bad with money?! I'm pretty sure I'm the worst with money. My dad gave me a grand for a few months rent and I went shopping, bought a plane ticket to Vancouver, and now can't sleep because I'm worried about money!!! hahhahha who am I???? I think everything will work out though...it'll be tight but hopefully everything will work out.

I think it's time for a martini :)

Besides all the money bullshit I'm stoked for Van!!!! Me and Licious are leaving March 27th for a few days and it's going to be amazing!!!!! Paul's going to get hugs for days!! Hopefully it'll be beach weather!

Pfanntastic Phoenix!

We're back from reading break in Phoenix, and oh what a trip it was! Tequila, snow, shopping, hiking, snow. It fucking snowed in Phoenix! I thought we were going on vacation to escape Calgary's harsh winter! Aye yai yai. Me and Damien did a shit ton of hiking and I'd be okay with taking a serious break from hiking or doing any physical activity for awhile!

We traveled to the Grand Canyon which was quite grand indeed! We stayed a night in Sedona where we took part in a Pink Jeep tour! There was no rest for the wicked on this vacation!

I'm watching my favorite Jersey Shore episode on MTV and really really really need to go make a beverage.

It's Almost CHRISTMAS!

Finals are done, Christmas is here, now LET'S PARTY!!!!

Paul is coming next Friday for four days and I pretty much work the whole time he's here...FML. I need to get Saturday off. I wonder if Joey's will even be busy during the holidays. Aye papi.

I started my new job as a wine/liquor rep last Friday and it's pretty sweet! I give out samples for 4 hours and then get to go home! It's way more relaxing than Joey's. Being a liquor rep is pretty much the opposite job from Joey's. I like it a lot more. If one job has to go it's definitely Joey's!

I'm officially in the holiday mood now that finals are done! I've only gotten one one exam mark back and I got an A in the class!!! WOOPWOOP! Hopefully the rest will be equally good!!

Stolen Phone = Angry Stephanie

I am sooooooo angry. I haven't felt so much rage inside of me ever. Last night at Joey's I put my iPhone in my purse after texting Damien and when I came back to text after my shift my phone was gone! I'm soooo angry and sad I can't decide which emotion I feel more! I asked Joey's to check the surveillance tape of the staff room and get back to me, but they haven't. I'm going in tonight to check the tapes myself. I really really really don't want to pay 300 bucks for the exact same phone I just had. If I find who took my phone it's going to take all my willpower not to kill them or punch them in the face. So sad.

On the plus side school is done on Wednesday and Midterms are over on the 14th! I also got a new job as a wine rep today!!!! Very exciting. I have my first shift on Friday! Hopefully I can find my phone and be happy again.
