The Excitement is Building!!!

I know I haven't been blogged in awhile, and I think it's mostly because I have been so excited for upcoming events that I just didn't have anything else to write about!!! I wrote my diplomas which was AWFUL, but I'm glad they're done. I know I did well in English, but the verdict is out on the disaster which is Social Studies. I find out the results mid July, and have been wishing on every 11:11 that I pass!!

I'M GOING ON VACATION IN 2 DAYS!!!!! I'm pretty much the most excited person on the face of the planet right now!! I am soooooo excited. Me and Damien are leaving Calgary for Kelowna Wednesday after work, then from Kelowna, we're going to Vancouver to see Paul, Chris, and pick up Kyle! We're going to stay in Van for a couple of days, and then venture to the Shuswap for houseboating on Sunday morning!!! I actually could not be more excited!!! I can't wait to tan!! I need a tan so badly!! I really need to clean out my car and pack tonight!! So much to do!!

WEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOH SUMMER VACATION!!!! CRAZY TIME!!!!

Something's Mising in my Life....

REALITY TV!!! Damien took my TV remote away from me so I could study...I miss TV!! Mrs. Eastwood and Company, The Kardashians, Come Dine With Me, Mad Men (not reality, but I freaking miss it), and I'm sure there are many other shows I'm missing.

I wrote my English written final today and I think it went well...I'm scared. I need to just not freak out and take deep breaths until I find out if I passed. Tests are so stressful! This weekend should be fun! I finally get paid on Friday which means PARTAYYYY!! Friday is Nicole's birthday partayyy and Saturday is the photo-shoot/Cory, Chris and Becky's housewarming party!

Tonight me and Damien are going to watch the Bachelorette and go for a run!! I went to hot yoga last night with Nicole and it was the SHIT. I love hot yoga. I'll hopefully go again tomorrow night!! A little run tonight, yoga tomorrow night! Hopefully my knees don't give out, I haven't ran since the marathon!

I took a half day today and came back at 1:00pm....maybe my boss will think I came in earlier so I can duck out early! Model employee right here! It's going to be hard to stay inside and work all summer...I love the sun!! I need to sneak over to my rents house tonight and grab some more vino!! yumyum! Life of a poor person right here...pay day where are you!

Bring on the SUMMER!!

I am so excited for summer vacation it's not even funny!! 16 days and we'll be BC bound! Me and Dames are taking the Intrigue out West to Kelowna, Vancouver, and then back to the Shuswap for HOUSEBOATING. I'm so excited!!! Operation vicious tanned Stephanie!! I need to book an appointment for highlights before this trip!

My photoshoot is this weekend, which should be interesting! I still need to pick up some white lingerie. Payday needs to hurry up!!! I have things to buy!! I'm going to yoga everyday this week, it's been decided.

TRUE BLOOD was amazing last night!!! I don't want to say any spoilers, but holy crap. If you haven't seen true blood yet, I highly recommend you go see it!!

I'm going to try to go for a run today...although I didn't bring my sports bra, or have an appropriate top to wear...whatever. I'm bored of sitting inside all lunch and doing nothing. RUNNING is happening!!! I may have to run in my cardigan...this tank top is not very appropriate!

BUSTED

I have been caught red handed. I don't know if I mentioned that I've been taking money out of a joint account I have with my father, in the hopes of him not noticing. Today he noticed. Apparently I have taken $1,400 out of the account. He didn't seem overly upset since it's made $2,700 on top of the money I've taken out. I also don't give a flying fuck. It's my money, and I understand that he wants to keep it for me until I finish school, or buy a house, or need it for something other than fucking around, but life's not fun when you're poor!

On a lighter note, it's almost Friday! I am very excited for the weekend! I'm going to need a few cocktails, that's for sure! Last night after my prep class, I came home to the most amazing sight: Damien, sushi, and wine!! I had some yam tempura sushi with avocado on top! SO DELICIOUS. There were some cucumber rolls, California rolls, and Damien had some crazy rolls. He's more adventurous with his sushi. I do love that mayo/hot sauce they put on the volcano rolls! Mmm, another amazing sauce: Big Mac sauce. I could eat the shit out of a big mac right now, just for the secret sauce! While we're on the topic of fast food burgers with amazing secret sauces: Peter's Drive-In has the best burgers!!! These burgers are so huge, and have this amazing mayo-ish amazeballs sauce on them. Mouth watering goodness. Can you tell it's lunch time? Let's see how far this five dollars will get me...

Young Stephanie Ruined My Life/Vision

Let me tell you a nice morning story. There once was a girl named Stephanie, who was jealous of all the kids at school who had braces and glasses. Why you may ask? I don't know, Stephanie was an odd child. Alright, cat's out of the bag...I'm Stephanie, and talking in the third person is hurting my brain! Long story short, I started wearing my friend's glasses and now my eyes are fucked. I have learned a valuable lesson from my childhood though: If my kid starts asking for glasses or braces I'm just going to give them to him/her. I'm going to make a great mother, and probably have the most spoiled brat of a child. Super. Can't wait.

I ordered contacts yesterday, because I have been wearing my last set of contacts for a month, and they're only supposed to last 2 weeks. My right contact has been fuzzy and going crazy, and I couldn't wait anymore, so I went to the optometrist hoping I could get a new set of contacts without renewing my prescription. False. I needed an eye exam. No biggy though. This morning I had an eye exam and purchased new contacts, and my eyes feel like one millionnn dollars!!

I don't understand why you can buy contacts online without a prescription, but through an optometrist you need a valid prescription. Maybe it's for insurance purposes. Maybe you can't submit contacts you purchased online to your insurance company. I'm going to get to the bottom of this! I'll submit the contacts I purchased through the optometrist and the ones I ordered online! MUAHA!!!

Fast-Forward to the WEEKEND!!

This is going to sound very lame, but I have three days of diploma prep ahead of me. I'm supposed to be house sitting for my parents while they're in Sask, but I just don't see myself going over to their house after I get home at 10:30pm.

I won a bid on eBay and don't want it anymore. I wonder if I just pretend it never happened, if it'll just go away. I read online that you get a strike against you, and if you have a couple strikes you can be banned from eBay for all eternity! Sounds scary, I like eBay. I'll probably end up paying if they pester me enough.

I went to hot yoga last night and it was the sweatiest mess of life. The room was jam packed with yogies, which made it even hotter in the studio. I'm pretty sure I produced enough sweat to fill a kiddie pool. On the bright side: bye bye weekend weight gain!

Back to studying all day! I wish my boss wasn't in this week, how sweet would that be! I also need to watch Hamlet this weekend. It's either watch Hamlet or read the book....hahaha I can't wait until this is over!!!

Operation STUDY

I start my diploma prep for social tomorrow, and I'm studying hard today, and tomorrow!! My insides would die if I didn't pass these tests and couldn't go to school in the fall.

I had such a fun weekend! Friday was JT's birthday party at Hudsons, and we danced the night away! Saturday was Mel's parents' joint 50th birthday party! There were tequila shots, beer pong, flippy cup, and a lot of delicious food! Sunday night Me, Damien, and his mom went to Vin Room for tapas and WINE. So delicious. I thought tapas was like naan bread or pita that you put Indian food in, but that is false. I've seen Along Came Polly way too many times, and now I'm terrified of going out for Indian food, although it looks like fun!

This week I had big plans to yoga everyday ,and go for dinner at this new restaurant on 17th called Black Betty, but now I will be at diploma prep everyday after work. I think I need to start wishing I pass my tests at 11:11 instead of the usual "I hope this is the best day ever" wish! It'll be all over soon, and then I get to reward myself with an amazing present if I pass!!

Oh em gee, Damien went to the zoo with his family on the weekend and got me these adorable penguin earrings!! LOVE!!!!

Dealfind: I kind of love you!

I just bought the best Dealfind ever!! You know it's going to be a great day when you get a 30 minute manicure, 60 minute pedicure, and 45 minute massage for $40.00! I actually had a credit on my Dealfind so it was for free!! I had purchased a Dealfind a few months ago for some laser facial procedure, but the business cancelled their contract with Dealfind, so I got my money back plus 10%! I was waiting for a pedicure Dealfind to pop up, but this one is a hundred times better!! Now I just have to wait until my feet are somewhat less disgusting from my marathon!

Another marathon warning: your feet are so gross and blistery after. I didn't even feel anything rubbing down south when I was running, but it has snuck up on me! Atleast I have a wonderful pedicure waiting for me! PINK TOES!!!

Yesterday I hated my job so much, I was ready to quit as soon as I got my pay cheque. I'm still here. If i say the word "expenses" again, I think my head may explode. Oh well, 3 more month. 3 months at this job seems like an eternity. Atleast the summer will be amazingly fun and if I get fired in August for being a crazy Stampeder, I don't give a flying rat's ass. What an odd saying.

Last night me and Mel had a little wine night, and Dames came over for some True Blood Season 4 action!! True Blood Season 5 is so close!! June 10th if I recall correctly! We're going to our friend Brad's place to watch season 5, since he has HBO!!! HBO = FRIENDS!!
