Marathon Training/Legs Falling off

Happy Hump Day Afternoon!!

Well, May has snuck up on me!! I have days to book off that I haven't yet, a marathon to run that I've just started training for, and Mel's BIRTHDAY!! Like woah, May's a busy one!!

I've been looking up marathon schedules today, and I'm not too far off what the schedule suggests. The only major thing I have yet to incorporate into my weekly training is a "long run" once a week. This "long run" is pretty much a half marathon, aka 26km. I've uped my daily lunch time runs to 10k, so if I keep on that track and add a weekly long run into my life, I'm golden!! Side effect of running 10k at lunch: my legs feel like jelly.

It's my dad's retirement party May 5th, and I still have to book it off work...that's next Friday!! It's at 3:00, so I just need a couple hours off. Work is such SHIT. Today is Secretary Day, or Admin Professionals day or some horse shit. I'm soooo studying for my English test tonight!!!! I really want to see American Reunion!!! For some reason my bf doesn't want to see it...I don't remember why. I think it looks funny!! I follow Jason Bigg's wife of twatter and she's freaking hilarious!

Alright...back to work...almost home time :)

Voting Procrastination

Today is voting day for Alberta, and I'm really starting to think I should have watched those debates on TV instead of ignoring the world! Frick I keep having hot flashes!! All day I've been researching the political party platforms, and the reason it's been taking me all day to make a decision is because I keep getting distracted by gossip sites!! I guess I was actually doing work at work today; my boss is going out of town tomorrow (woohoo!!!), so I've been running around...which possibly explains my hot flashes. Right after work I'm going to the NE to vote. My address on my ID is still my old address, which I know you're supposed to change, but it's 25 bucks!! If they were so concerned with people changing their address every time they moved, you'd think they'd make it free to change your stupid address. I am never changing my address...until my license expires. February 21st, 2016 I will change my address. Hahaha fuck, 2016 is a long ways away. I thought licenses expired a lot sooner than that, and my license picture is really bad. I'll be graduating from my four year program in 2016..scurry!

I have a case of the Monday brain, and I'm on my rag, so I'm pretty bitchy. On the weekend me and Steph went to see Titanic at 12:30 in the afty. Let me paint you a picture here: The theater was empty, a large empty theater. Me and Steph go to the top center of the theater, because that's my fave spot to be. This fucking asian lady comes and sits right beside me. EMPTY THEATER. Why wouldn't you leave a fucking seat atleast???? We would have moved over one, but this woman and her son came and sit beside Steph. The couple beside Steph were gracious enough to leave her a one seat courtesy. So, as we're in this empty theater with two psychos right beside me, and two a little less pyschos beside steph, two chicks come and sit right infront of us. At this point my insides were boiling and I wanted to scream. Does personal space mean nothing to people these days?? To make things worse the little kid beside Steph kept talking, and since he'd seen the movie before, he kept saying what was happening. The lady beside me was giving off a funky odor and kept reaching in her bag for her fucking thermos. I clearly still have some built up anger towards our Saturday movie experience. DEEP BREATHS. On the plus side, I'm glad I went to see Titanic again in 3D! Well worth it!!

HALF WAY THROUGH!!!

Morning!!! It's almost the weekend and my boss is out of town for the rest of the week!!! Amazing. Tomorrow is going to be epic wine night and I'm so excited!!! John Thai is bringing his new lady friend, who's pretty awesome, and her friend Leah who used to date Trevyn! They are pretty sweet!

I'm operation productive Steph today. I'm going to do all these expenses today so I can start studying for English/Social at work! It's pretty much the best plan ever! I keep waiting for the weather to get better in Calgs, but it's still rainy, and over cast, and shitty! I really want to go see a movie tonight! Movies I want to see: Titanic, American Reunion, and The Lucky One that comes out on Friday!! I think me and Steph are going to see a matinee on Saturday!!

This Saturday we're going dancing at the drum and I am stokeddddd!!!!! Casey is finally coming out of hibernation since the semester is done, and I'm going to throw her a welcome back party!!! JELLO SHOTS!!!!!! I really need to start making more creative shots...I should google this! I think I have some champagne left, which will come in handy!!

My yoga passage membership expired and I'm kind of bummed out. Maybe I'll do some depressing at home yoga...or just pay to go to hot yoga tonight...ya that sounds better than depression at home yoga!!

Stephanie "Loop Hole" Edwards

I have found the loop hole to not having to take english and social over again!!! I can write the diploma exams at SAIT in June and MRU is fine with accepting those grades instead of my Bow Valley College marks!! EUREKA! I am the queen of loop holes. If there is a lazier way to do something, I will find it!! I love myself. I'm drunk at work. My boss is away, for who knows what reason, and I'm here by myself! I ran home at 11:30 to watch Mad Men, which would have been more productive if I hadn't had a cocktail! I now have to watch half of Mad Men over again. I'm really not too sure when I became such a light weight...and I don't think I like it!!

BOOZEDAY TUESDAY!!!

I GOT INTO PR!!! YAY!!!

Before I start getting too excited though, I need to get a 60% in English 30 and 50% in Social...haha clearly my lack of motivation in High School is kicking me in the butt. I have until August to do it so it's on!! I'm sure I can take an equivalency test at bow valley for these terrible high school courses! Yay for being conditionally accepted!! Atleast I made it through the interview process!!!

Operation getting in shape for bikini season could be going worse! I resisted ice cream last night, and we made some pretty healthy pizza! I guess it didn't help that I dipped my pizza in ranch, but you can't win em all! My sister's in town until tomorrow so last night me and Damien went to my parents house (their in China) to hang out with Lauren and Craig and it was a lot of fun!! We made four pizzas and had some banana bread, and of course there was wine!! We did a little taste test the other day between The Little Penguin (malbec), Fuzion (malbec/shiraz), and Naked Grape (malbec), and found that Naked Grape was definitely the smoothest out of the three wines. Me and Damien tried to guzzle down the little penguin and it was NOT going down smoothly on Sunday night! I'm so hooked on Game of Thrones I want to watch it right now!!! I should have taken another day off this week to catch up on all my TV shows!!

WEEKEND LOVE!!!! Hello Monday....

Afternoon!!

Well, this weekend went according to plan, besides a few little hiccups! I had completely planned on going to my friend Justin's birthday, but I went tanning, and over to Damien's house, and didn't get home until 9:00 in the PM. I started making jello shots and cupcakes when I got home. Making jello shots doesn't take long, and neither does making cupcakes, but when you try to do all the things it takes some time. I didn't end up finishing the jello shots/cupcakes until 12:30, and by then I was exhausted and decided to watch an episode of Breaking Bad and pass the fuck out.
Luckily for me, passing out early on Friday meant not being a hungover disaster on Saturday, which is really what I was hoping for! My cousin was in town, so we met at Heartland Cafe in Bridgeland with Lauren, Craig, and her friend Lindsay! I was a little full from an epic leftover cupcake binge, so I just had a latte! After breakfast, we went SHOPPING!!!! Honestly, best shopping trip EVER. I bought a brown leather jacket, and it is soooo sexy!!! We went to Crossiron Mills, and since it's the outlet stores, everything is on sale!! My leather jacket was from Danier, and only 230$ marked down from like 500! I want to marry my jacket and have it's pretty little leather jacket babies!! Along with my jacket, I purchased some purple leggings from the Joe Fresh store, and that was it at Crossiron.
My cousin and Lauren got clothes from H&M and Banana. I was waiting outside the dressing room for my sister to try on a few outfits, and honestly thought she was giving birth in there she was taking so long!!! FYI my sister is not preggers. After we left the mall, I dropped everyone off and headed for a tan which was amazing, and decided to stop into Market Mall to see if they had any wristbands for my Michael Kors watch! I was getting a little sick of the rubber pink band I had on it. Luckily for me, they could put a silver watch strap on my watch, and it was only 20 bucks!!! I shall now wear my watch 24/7!!!

Saturday was Nicole's housewarming partayy, which was a lot of fun!!! She had prepared so much food!! It was kid themed food which was really cute! Ants on a log, cheesewiz on celery, PB&J sammies with the crust cut off!! Nutella and peanut butter sammies!! I brought the jello shots and cupcakes!! Me and Damien got to the house party at 6pm, so by the time 11:30 rolled around we were ready to peace the fuck out, plus, I was wearing cute jeans, stilettos, and my new leather jacket! I needed to go out!! We left the party, and met my cousin at the Met on 17th ave! It was pretty fun minus the insane creepers EVERYWHERE. I felt like we were in Mexico being hounded by creepy dudes! I'm pretty sure we didn't stay there long...it was bed time!!

Yesterday was a pretty typical lazy Sunday!!! I had brunch with the fam during the day, and then me and Dames watched Game of Thrones, 30 rocks, Cougartown, and SCRUBS. OMG I love scrubs. My fave scrubs episodes are when JD and Elliot are together because they're so cute and I love them!! I am such a TV junkie. I am so into this Game of Thrones show!! There are lots of sex scenes and they are awesome!!!! I pretty much just sit in anticipation for the next sex scene!! I'm almost half way through season 3 of Breaking Bad, and since there's only 5 seasons that will be done soon unfortunately. Why is TV so good!! I also have to watch the new Mad Men, Amazing Race, Khloe & Lamar, and Ice Loves Coco!!!!

Tonight, I'm going to my parents' house to have dinner with Lauren and Craig! My rents are in China right now, which gives us the opportunity to drink all of their wine!!! MUAHA!!! PIZZA AND WINE, and if I'm lucky I'll get a manicure :)

Operation No Hangover Weekend!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Finally the weekend is here!! Last night I thought I could get away with drinking red wine while wearing a white shirt, swing and a miss!! I only had half the bottle too, that's pretty impressive for me!! I'm pretty sure my alcohol tolerance is slowly diminishing, based on last weekend's epic disaster! It was so snowy in Calgary last night I shut my blinds, painted my nails, watched: Punk'd, Pauly D Project, Community!! Successful wine night indeed!!

My cousin is coming to town this weekend!!! This means one thing: SHOPPING!!! My cousin, Christine, is from a small town in BC, and obviously the shopping there is crap...I'm pretty sure it's a town of 1000 people. We usually go to Cross Iron Mills when she's in town, which works for me!! I could use a new Coach wristlet, and they're super cheap at Cross Iron! Someone was saying they had a Michael Kors at Cross Iron too which would be prime since I have my watch that I need a new watch strap for, and if they have wristlets at Michael Kors I would much rather have one of those!! BRAND WHORE. They need a Victoria's Secret at that mall..I'm going to look up their stores and plan my shopping strategy!! Thank fuck it's PAY DAY!!!!

Tonight bowling has been cancelled. Womp womp :( although we just went bowling, and I'm kind of over it for the time being. I completely forgot it's my friend Justin's bday at Yardhouse/Twisted and let's be honest...I can't pass that up!!! GAY BAR DANCING!!!! And now comes my predicament...the chances that I get epic shittered tonight are 99.99999%, but with my cousin coming in tomorrow afternoon I REALLY don't want to be hungover for shopping!! I wish we had NOHO in Canada!!! I almost ordered some NOHO once...then cancelled my shipment for some reason. Another reason I can't be completely hung tomorrow is that it's Nicole's housewarming partayy and I'm in charge of the jello shots!!! I should totally make the jello shots tonight!!!!!! Genius idea.

It will be a Friday the 13th miracle if I don't get a little crazayy tonight and end up dead on my ass tomorrow, unable to shop. hahahaha unable to shop...that was funny...

THURSDAY aka Potential Wine NIGHT!

GOOD MORNING!! Honestly, taking Monday off this week was the best thing I've done in a long time!! Not only did I give myself a wicked manicure, but this week is just zooming by! Last night I had my interview for Public Relations at MRU and I'm not going to lie, it was mildly stressful! It was a group interview, so there were 5 students, and a prof asking us each questions. All the other girls had these long winded answers and mine were pretty short. FML. Oh well, I shouldn't think about it!! POOF.

Last night was epic Wednesday night TV, which just got a little more interesting since The Real Housewives of Vancouver were added to the line up!! I'm a sucker for reality TV, and those crazy housewives, but the RHOV take the cake!! They showed Ronnie's plans to make her two waterfront mansions into one huge 15,000 square foot epic mansion!! Like, can I have some of your money please?? I think my fave housewife is Reiko, she's pretty cute! Modern Family was on last night too, and Happy Endings!

Yoga last night was soooo good and relaxing!! I have a severe bar injury that's on the mend right now! Saturday night I decided it was a fabulous idea to wake up at 9:30am and start drinking my face off...no naps...just kept going until we went to commonwealth and I started falling down the stairs. I'm really classy, I know!! Anywho, my leg hurts like a bitch. It probably doesn't help that I was wearing 7 inch platform shoes. This weekend my cousins are in town from Castlegar, so I'm hoping (fingers crossed) I don't fall down any stairs!

My parents left for China yesterday morning, which is pretty awesome, since I'm sure they'll be bringing me back presents!! My sister's bf, Craig, is looking after their house and Lauren's coming home from Deadmonton this weekend!! She says she has a presents for me!! Haha what would life be sans presents?? I love them!!! Besides bowling tomorrow night and Nicole's housewarming Sat night, I'm hoping to sleep this weekend!! Oh yes....and a possibility of wine night with the ladies tonight :) :)

Long time, no blog!

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!

Alright I'm back to blogging because I just got really excited for life and my insides couldn't take it anymore!! MUST EXPLODE!!!

Where shall we start...tonight I have an interview at MRU for the Public Relations program and I am beyond stoked!!!! I really thought I would only get accepted into open studies at university since my high school grades were complete SHIT. Seriously, I think i just got over 50% in every class. As I had preciously mentioned, I was attempting to upgrade my English 30 which was going terribly since I'm the ultimate procrastinator. I dropped English 30, and took a W. Shh don't tell my rents. Well I have my interview outfit all picked out for tonight and I am really excited, I will definitely update you on how it went!! I'm guessing it's going to go amazingly since I'm awesomeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

The countdown is on for Vancouver/houseboating and I am so excited!! I get to see Paul in 78 days and then go houseboating!! I've never been houseboating and can't wait to go!! We're already starting to plan our theme nights, and it's just going to be the best time ever! I think there's 20 of us going?

Other things I'm excited about: Damien was in Victoria for a week and just go back last night which is super exciting!!! Titanic 3D is out in theaters and us gals are planning to finally go see it next week!! I'm pretty sure wine night is on for tomorrow night!! This weekend is Nicole's housewarming party and I'm making Jello shots!!! I finally lost a few boyfriend pounds and don't have a roll of fat hanging over my pants. TMI. There's a spring sale at yoga passage that I want to get, but since it's the summer I may just pass on it and join flag football with Begin instead. My auntie has a 10 time pass for yoga santosha she said I could have which may just have to hold me over!!

SHORT WEEK, and belinis!!

Happy Afternoon!!!

Calgary is so sunny right now and it's making me want to go outside and have a beer!

The weekend was a BLAST and I can't wait for the next one to come!! Friday we all went bowling, which was so much fun! We went bowling at Schanks North so we didn't even have to wear bowling shoes and it was super cheap! Saturday it was my auntie's 60th birthday surprise partayyy and then I went to Nicole's house for some wine! mmm wine. I could go for a glass of wine right now! FOCUS!!

Sunday was soooo much fun!!! Me, Steph, and Robyn went for mani/pedis then to Joey's for BELINIS. OMG scratch craving wine, I want a belini!! Tonight me and dames are going to see 21 Jump Street, and this weekend I'm going to see Hunger Games with the little sis!

I'm definitely going back to school in the fall now, I just have to find out my living situation...and such. oh life. haha :)
