Tonight Mel, Begin, and myself will be attending a class called Warm Yin/Yang at Yoga Passage. Apparently it's cross between core work and Vinyasa yoga. I wish it had a different name..."So, Steph, what are you doing tonight?" "Oh, you know, just going to my Warm Yin/Yang class!" haha sounds ridiculous!! I'll just call it yoga. On the plus side, reading the description of Warm Yin/Yang sounds pretty exciting:
"Energize and restore! The first half of this class will focus on blending Yang postures with core work and vinyasa to energize and strengthen muscles and joints. The last half will emphasize Yin postures which are held for a longer duration to restore and heal the connective tissues and cells of the body. The Yin (gentle) practice perfectly balances the Yang (active) side of the practice by gently strengthening the body and calming the mind. Yes please!!! Can't wait for my energy levels to be restored, not to mention the physical, mental, and emotional!! I'll let you know how my Warm Yin/Yang class goes!! I have high hopes!!
