Operation No Hangover Weekend!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Finally the weekend is here!! Last night I thought I could get away with drinking red wine while wearing a white shirt, swing and a miss!! I only had half the bottle too, that's pretty impressive for me!! I'm pretty sure my alcohol tolerance is slowly diminishing, based on last weekend's epic disaster! It was so snowy in Calgary last night I shut my blinds, painted my nails, watched: Punk'd, Pauly D Project, Community!! Successful wine night indeed!!

My cousin is coming to town this weekend!!! This means one thing: SHOPPING!!! My cousin, Christine, is from a small town in BC, and obviously the shopping there is crap...I'm pretty sure it's a town of 1000 people. We usually go to Cross Iron Mills when she's in town, which works for me!! I could use a new Coach wristlet, and they're super cheap at Cross Iron! Someone was saying they had a Michael Kors at Cross Iron too which would be prime since I have my watch that I need a new watch strap for, and if they have wristlets at Michael Kors I would much rather have one of those!! BRAND WHORE. They need a Victoria's Secret at that mall..I'm going to look up their stores and plan my shopping strategy!! Thank fuck it's PAY DAY!!!!

Tonight bowling has been cancelled. Womp womp :( although we just went bowling, and I'm kind of over it for the time being. I completely forgot it's my friend Justin's bday at Yardhouse/Twisted and let's be honest...I can't pass that up!!! GAY BAR DANCING!!!! And now comes my predicament...the chances that I get epic shittered tonight are 99.99999%, but with my cousin coming in tomorrow afternoon I REALLY don't want to be hungover for shopping!! I wish we had NOHO in Canada!!! I almost ordered some NOHO once...then cancelled my shipment for some reason. Another reason I can't be completely hung tomorrow is that it's Nicole's housewarming partayy and I'm in charge of the jello shots!!! I should totally make the jello shots tonight!!!!!! Genius idea.

It will be a Friday the 13th miracle if I don't get a little crazayy tonight and end up dead on my ass tomorrow, unable to shop. hahahaha unable to shop...that was funny...

THURSDAY aka Potential Wine NIGHT!

GOOD MORNING!! Honestly, taking Monday off this week was the best thing I've done in a long time!! Not only did I give myself a wicked manicure, but this week is just zooming by! Last night I had my interview for Public Relations at MRU and I'm not going to lie, it was mildly stressful! It was a group interview, so there were 5 students, and a prof asking us each questions. All the other girls had these long winded answers and mine were pretty short. FML. Oh well, I shouldn't think about it!! POOF.

Last night was epic Wednesday night TV, which just got a little more interesting since The Real Housewives of Vancouver were added to the line up!! I'm a sucker for reality TV, and those crazy housewives, but the RHOV take the cake!! They showed Ronnie's plans to make her two waterfront mansions into one huge 15,000 square foot epic mansion!! Like, can I have some of your money please?? I think my fave housewife is Reiko, she's pretty cute! Modern Family was on last night too, and Happy Endings!

Yoga last night was soooo good and relaxing!! I have a severe bar injury that's on the mend right now! Saturday night I decided it was a fabulous idea to wake up at 9:30am and start drinking my face off...no naps...just kept going until we went to commonwealth and I started falling down the stairs. I'm really classy, I know!! Anywho, my leg hurts like a bitch. It probably doesn't help that I was wearing 7 inch platform shoes. This weekend my cousins are in town from Castlegar, so I'm hoping (fingers crossed) I don't fall down any stairs!

My parents left for China yesterday morning, which is pretty awesome, since I'm sure they'll be bringing me back presents!! My sister's bf, Craig, is looking after their house and Lauren's coming home from Deadmonton this weekend!! She says she has a presents for me!! Haha what would life be sans presents?? I love them!!! Besides bowling tomorrow night and Nicole's housewarming Sat night, I'm hoping to sleep this weekend!! Oh yes....and a possibility of wine night with the ladies tonight :) :)

The morning after wine night....

I am hung the fuck over. What's the saying about the hair of the dog? I feel like it could be applied to my current situation. I knew I was going to go home yesterday after work and indulge in a bottle of wine, but I really saw myself passing out at around 9pm and waking up fresh as a daisy! If you saw me right now you would not think I look fresh as a daisy!

Last night I left work early since I didn't take a lunch (still waiting to see if I get yelled at for that), and rushed home to watch MAD MEN!!! I actually kind of forgot how slow and somewhat dull Mad Men is...don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mad Men, but you have to admit, it's not the most upbeat television show. So there I was, on the couch, just me, a bottle of wine, my fur baby, a blanket, and my stirfry!! OOH I bought new stirfry mix with baby corn!!! LOVE baby corn. Anyways, I was shit faced by 6pm, and pretty sure I had polished off my bottle of wine by this point, besides the last glass I was nursing. I had moved on to the AMAZING RACE by this point, and then watched something else...Whitney reruns? Random amazing shows on the PVR. At some point during the evening me and Vanessa had decided to hang out, so she came over with CHOCOLATE!!! You know who knows the way to a woman's heart? WOMEN!! V brought over Dairy Milk (YUM) and Peanut M&Ms (DOUBLE YUM). We ate chocolate, drank more wine, made some popcorn, and there goes my diet! Fuck it, stupid dieting.

I think tonight is FINALLY taco night with Dames!! Like seriously, craving tacos over here! Also if you live in Calgary and you're reading this, fuck this weather. If you're not in Calgary and reading this, we're having terrible rainy, cold, snowy weather and it's making me want to run home and hide under my blankets with three bottles of wine, because sometimes two isn't enough, and no one wants to leave bed for more wine...although I guess if you did have to leave bed for something, wine would be the thing you'd want to leave it for. I think I'm on a wine bender. Definitely!!
