WEEKEND LOVE!!!! Hello Monday....

Afternoon!!

Well, this weekend went according to plan, besides a few little hiccups! I had completely planned on going to my friend Justin's birthday, but I went tanning, and over to Damien's house, and didn't get home until 9:00 in the PM. I started making jello shots and cupcakes when I got home. Making jello shots doesn't take long, and neither does making cupcakes, but when you try to do all the things it takes some time. I didn't end up finishing the jello shots/cupcakes until 12:30, and by then I was exhausted and decided to watch an episode of Breaking Bad and pass the fuck out.
Luckily for me, passing out early on Friday meant not being a hungover disaster on Saturday, which is really what I was hoping for! My cousin was in town, so we met at Heartland Cafe in Bridgeland with Lauren, Craig, and her friend Lindsay! I was a little full from an epic leftover cupcake binge, so I just had a latte! After breakfast, we went SHOPPING!!!! Honestly, best shopping trip EVER. I bought a brown leather jacket, and it is soooo sexy!!! We went to Crossiron Mills, and since it's the outlet stores, everything is on sale!! My leather jacket was from Danier, and only 230$ marked down from like 500! I want to marry my jacket and have it's pretty little leather jacket babies!! Along with my jacket, I purchased some purple leggings from the Joe Fresh store, and that was it at Crossiron.
My cousin and Lauren got clothes from H&M and Banana. I was waiting outside the dressing room for my sister to try on a few outfits, and honestly thought she was giving birth in there she was taking so long!!! FYI my sister is not preggers. After we left the mall, I dropped everyone off and headed for a tan which was amazing, and decided to stop into Market Mall to see if they had any wristbands for my Michael Kors watch! I was getting a little sick of the rubber pink band I had on it. Luckily for me, they could put a silver watch strap on my watch, and it was only 20 bucks!!! I shall now wear my watch 24/7!!!

Saturday was Nicole's housewarming partayy, which was a lot of fun!!! She had prepared so much food!! It was kid themed food which was really cute! Ants on a log, cheesewiz on celery, PB&J sammies with the crust cut off!! Nutella and peanut butter sammies!! I brought the jello shots and cupcakes!! Me and Damien got to the house party at 6pm, so by the time 11:30 rolled around we were ready to peace the fuck out, plus, I was wearing cute jeans, stilettos, and my new leather jacket! I needed to go out!! We left the party, and met my cousin at the Met on 17th ave! It was pretty fun minus the insane creepers EVERYWHERE. I felt like we were in Mexico being hounded by creepy dudes! I'm pretty sure we didn't stay there long...it was bed time!!

Yesterday was a pretty typical lazy Sunday!!! I had brunch with the fam during the day, and then me and Dames watched Game of Thrones, 30 rocks, Cougartown, and SCRUBS. OMG I love scrubs. My fave scrubs episodes are when JD and Elliot are together because they're so cute and I love them!! I am such a TV junkie. I am so into this Game of Thrones show!! There are lots of sex scenes and they are awesome!!!! I pretty much just sit in anticipation for the next sex scene!! I'm almost half way through season 3 of Breaking Bad, and since there's only 5 seasons that will be done soon unfortunately. Why is TV so good!! I also have to watch the new Mad Men, Amazing Race, Khloe & Lamar, and Ice Loves Coco!!!!

Tonight, I'm going to my parents' house to have dinner with Lauren and Craig! My rents are in China right now, which gives us the opportunity to drink all of their wine!!! MUAHA!!! PIZZA AND WINE, and if I'm lucky I'll get a manicure :)

Yoga Day THREE!

Morning!! Happy HUMP day!!

Yoga day one and two were a success, so let's see how yoga day 3 goes! I'm guessing it will go amazingly! Last night I did hot yoga and tonight will be a warm flow yoga! Hopefully by the weekend I can be back to my almost pre-vegas weight. 4 pounds...hah and it's only Wednesday...I'm guesstimating by Saturday I'll be....114. That's a good goal...I should probably just not eat until Saturday.

Saturday is St. Paddy's day!!! WOOP WOOP!!! My sister is also coming to town this weekend!! So exciting!!! I need to get her something for her BDAY. I was thinking we could go for pedicures and then I could get her some earrings or something...that sounds nice :) ooh maybe we could go see a movie!! We're having brunch Sunday morning aka the morning after St. Paddy's...fuck I'm going to be hungover I just know it. I'm kind of hoping since I'm going to Jen's bday with Damien I won't drink as much as I usually do....I'm so screwed. Last St. Paddy's day I was high on MDMA and falling downstairs backwards with a dress on...hahah on a Thursday. Work was rough that Friday morning!

Oh. Em. Gee. Cougar Town was soooo awesome last night!! Since I'm a freaking Scrubs fanatic, I was over the moon when they pretty much brought out the whole Scrubs cast!! Ted and his acapella group were there, Elliot, JD, Kelso, The Todd!!! At the end of the episode they pulled out all the stops and all the Scrubs cast members came out and spooked Ted one at a time until it was Kelso's turn and Ted freaked out! Hahahaha I need to watch more Scrubs!!!
I was losing my shit laughing last night!!

Top of the Tuesday to ya!

I ate my spaghetti for breakfast this morning, and now I'm sad because all I have to look forward to for lunch is oatmeal. hahah fml. On the bright side, it's one week until payday AND until I can actually spend money on food!! I also forgot tax season is among us, and I totally get money this year!! I took that Physics class last winter which will count towards my taxes, and my RSPs, and this JOB!!!!! Last year I think I got around 4500 bucks. Hopefully I get the same this year and I can pay off most of my credit card. CHA CHING. The first thing I need to do when I get a dollar to my name is get my hair done!! And perhaps a pedicure...and a new watch strap!! This is exciting!

My plan to lose my Vegas belly this week is going swimmingly! Only 3 pounds to go and I'm back to normal, non-belly Stephanie. There's a piece of cake that's still haunting me in the fridge...it's black forest *drool.

My plan to make 50 bucks last 12 days could be going worse. I owe Casey 20 bucks for lunch, note to self, but other than that it's been smooth sailing! I should go pan handle for some weekend money!! I think us girls have a fun girls night planned for this weekend!! WOOP WOOP!!! OOH me and Dames got caught up on Cougar Town and Up All Night last night...and something else, ooh Parks and Rec which I'm going to have to start getting into!! It's so cold in Calgs right now, all I want to do is snuggle, eat, and watch TV....and go shopping....for lingerie. Prowwww!!

It just dawned on me what to be for Halloween!! Jules from Cougar Town!!! Now I can chill at home drinking out of Stan (my wine glass that holds a bottle of wine) and be in character!! Best Halloween costume ever. Now I need to go get a wig....and maybe a face life.

Wine.

I think wine is the thing I'm most passionate about at the moment. All day I just can't wait to go home and drink wine. Wine is great for all occasions...when you're happy, sad, staying home and watching a movie, or going out on the town!! Wine is always there to make sure you're having a good time. Red wine is my favorite at the moment. I love Shiraz and Malbec the most, but definitely would never turn down a Cab Sauv or Merlot. (Writing this entry is making me want to run home and drink wine.)
I love Sangria. OMG it is so delicious. Although I prefer red wine to white, in a sangria I think I may prefer a white wine sangria. So delicious. Original Joe's makes a great Sangria. Earls also makes an amazing Sangria, which are on special Mondays FYI. Earls Sangria has large pieces of fruit in it, so at the end you eat the fruit which is infused with alcohol and it makes your insides very happy :)  I had a white wine sangria with my friend Travis at the Hyatt restaurant a few Fridays ago. It was so amazing. We had a pitcher and were quite tipsy as I walked back to work. I was just about to bitch about work until I realized this entry is dedicated to wine. I can not have any negative talk on my wine entry. Today is definitely one of those days where I don't want to do anything but go home, put on my sweats, pour a glass of wine, and watch TV :) Jersey shore is on, The Office, Community, and BIG BANG!!!! One of my favorite things about Fall: TV IS BACK AND SOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!
Favorite show to drink wine to = COUGAR TOWN. If you don't watch Cougar Town, please do. It's really funny and by the same creator as SCRUBS. Scrubs is LEGIT my favorite TV show of all time. Elliott from Scrubs is going to be making an appearance on the third season of Cougar Town and I am sooooooo excited!!!! OOOH I love this picture!!! Look at them with their WINE <3
